[Mediastinal tumor--a combined cervical and thoracic surgical approach]

In the submitted case-history the authors describe a tumor which developed paravertebrally in the upper three intercostal spaces. During its removal a not very well known surgical procedure was used permitting subluxation of the clavicle.
