    Hypersensitivity Reactions: Delayed Hypersensitivity Reactions

    Delayed-Type Hypersensitivity (DTH), or Type IV hypersensitivity, is a cell-mediated immune response. It occurs when T cells, rather than antibodies, mediate a reaction to specific antigens.
