HIV infection and international travel

Between 13 and 15 million people world-wide are infected with HIV. Travellers to foreign countries may disregard conventional norms of behaviour and indulge in risk-taking behaviour. Nurses can provide information on preventing the spread of HIV and other common infections by travellers.
