Abstract:
We report the analysis of the H1(u)((3)P(1)) state of I(2) by optical-optical double resonance. This state lies in the second tier of ion-pair states and its observation was achieved by using the (1 + 2) photoexcitation sequence using the A(3)Pi(1u) state as an intermediate.
