Summary

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) in nebulized bronchodilators does not cause bronchospasm in asthma patients. Benzalkonium chloride (BAC), however, does induce significant bronchospasm, potentially reducing bronchodilator effectiveness during emergencies.

Purpose of the Study:
