Summary

Eosinophilic cystitis (EC) can present with urinary retention, particularly in children and women. Corticosteroids are an effective treatment, leading to full recovery and normal bladder function.

Background:

  • Eosinophilic cystitis (EC) is a rare bladder inflammation with diverse clinical presentations.
