Summary

Complex regional pain syndrome type I (CRPS-I) patients exhibit thermal allodynia due to significantly decreased cold and heat pain thresholds. This suggests sensory physiology abnormalities in CRPS-I, causing non-painful stimuli to be perceived as painful.
