[Experiences with the LAL-test from the viewpoint of a filter manufacturer]

This paper focuses on the application of the LAL-test for the determination of the endotoxin content of filter materials as well as for the determination of the endotoxin retention by positively charged depth filters. Whereas the gel clot test is exclusively used for these determinations, in the second part of the paper different LAL-test methods are discussed.
