Health promotion. Getting the hump with HImPs
The Health Service Journal
|February 24, 2001
Abstract:
A survey of health improvement programmes found that only 16 per cent identified children's needs as a priority. Only a quarter of HImPs had strategies for addressing teenage pregnancy. The results suggest patchy provision, and a failure to address issues strategically. Government guidance is needed to ensure that children and young people are made a priority in future HImPs.
