[Scrotal invasive angiomyofibroblastoma. First reported case].

Summary

This study reports the first known case of invasive angiomyofibroblastoma in the scrotum. The findings confirm that this rare soft tissue tumor can exhibit local invasiveness.

Background:

Angiomyofibroblastoma (AFB) is a rare soft tissue tumor.
Typically, AFB presents as a benign mesenchymal tumor.
Invasive potential of scrotal AFB is not well-documented.

Observation:

A unique case of locally invasive angiomyofibroblastoma of the scrotum is presented.
This represents the first reported instance of invasive scrotal AFB in medical literature.
The tumor exhibited characteristics suggesting local tissue invasion.

Findings:

The presented case demonstrates that angiomyofibroblastoma can be invasive.
Review of literature highlights the need for further understanding of AFB etiopathogenesis.
Clinical features, diagnosis, and treatment of this rare tumor are discussed.
