Hyperuricemia in cancer of the larynx. Preliminary report
Abstract:
Serum uric acid values were obtained in 94 patients with cancer, prior to and upon completion of radiation therapy. Hyperuricemia was persistent in all of the patients with carcinoma of the larynx. Explanation for this finding is uncertain. Serum uric acid levels for all other cancers, in this series, were not impressive.
