Connective tissue growth factor expression in pediatric myofibroblastic tumors

Connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) is elevated in pediatric tumors with fibrous and vascular elements. CTGF is expressed by tumor and endothelial cells, suggesting a role in myofibroblastic tumor development.
