Summary

Laxigal (sodium picosulfate) effectively treated constipation in 66 patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inert colon, and dolichocolon. The stimulant laxative showed good or satisfactory results with no adverse effects, even allowing for reduced dosage over time.
