[The realization methods of 3D ultrasonic blood flow mapping]

3D ultrasonic blood flow mapping has undergone significant technological refinements in image acquisition, signal processing and display techniques since its introduction in 1982. This paper describes the realization methods of 3D ultrasonic blood flow mapping systems. The performances of different systems are evaluated from the views of 3D localization, design of wall filters, velocity estimation and 3D visualization.
