Abstract:
Outcome evaluation should be a part of every consultation with before-and-after measurements and a control group, if possible. Unfortunately, these are not often available. Eight examples of outcome evaluations are described, for behavioral (child-centered), consultee-centered, and administrative consultations. Evaluation can be statistical or verbal. Behavioral consultations often can have systemic influences. Comparison is made with outcome in a SBHC.
