Recurrent superior mesenteric artery syndrome in a quadriplegic patient

Recurrent superior mesenteric artery syndrome occurs less frequently than other complications in patients having high spinal cord injury. However, as illustrated by the case reported here, it is important that the clinician be aware of the possibility of this syndrome in such patients.
