[Report from the seventh international course on peritoneal dialysis, Vicenza, Italy, May 23-26, 2000]

This report is devoted to the Seventh International Course on Peritoneal Dialysis with special interest to the place of peritoneal dialysis in so called "healthy" start of renal replacement therapy, more biocompatible dialysis solutions as well as limitations in the estimation of peritoneal dialysis adequacy using Kt/V for urea and weekly creatinine clearance.
