Summary

Tuberous sclerosis (TSC) is a genetic disorder. This study found tuberin and hamartin, TSC gene products, are widely expressed and colocalized in most tissues, suggesting a shared function in TSC.

Background:

  • Tuberous sclerosis (TSC) is an autosomal dominant disorder caused by mutations in TSC1 or TSC2 tumor-suppressor genes.
