Abstract:
Central to successful management of those who have suffered a burn of any size or depth is proper and effective evaluation and management of the wound. If a careful initial evaluation is made, basic principles of management are applied, and the response to therapy is regularly monitored, reliably excellent results can be expected for the large majority of patients.
