Intensive care and limits of technology

The development of technology in the area of intensive care has allowed a fundamental improvement in patient care and supervision and has increased nursing staff's opportunity for autonomy. However the nurses state that they are poorly equipped to utilize or implement resources which they say would benefit the consumer.
