Summary

Apolipoprotein E (apoE) allele epsilon(2) is linked to higher triglycerides and apoE levels, and lower LDL cholesterol in Chinese patients with endogenous hypertriglyceridemia. A lower apoE/apoCIII ratio also correlates with increased triglyceride levels.
