Summary

A modified tumescent surgical technique using adrenaline-saline injections significantly reduced blood loss in burn surgery. This method lowered both intraoperative and total blood transfusion requirements for patients with severe burns.

    • This technique offers a promising approach to managing blood loss in thermally injured patients.
    • Further prospective studies may confirm these findings and optimize the technique.
