Abstract:
Upper gastrointestinal fiberendoscopy has significantly advanced the diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of physicians as seen in this study of 100 consecutive examinations. The indications for this procedure in the areas of diagnosis, confirmation follow-up, and treatment are reviewed and evaluated. Materials and methodology are described.
