Abstract:
The extreme polymorphy of the histological structure of the malignant melanoblastoma of the choroid, and the diverse forms of the tumor echogram stimulated the comparative investigation of such tumors in 22 cases. The complicated combination of different histological details cannot be revealed through clinical echo-ophthalmography. However, connections between the histological preparation and the interference picture can be demonstrated subsequently.
