    Background:

    • Manual flax processing, originating in ancient Egypt, continues in small workshops and homes.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate dust exposure levels in manual flax processing.
    • To determine the prevalence of byssinosis and respiratory function impairment among these workers.
