The short-wave sensitive (S)-cone photopic negative response (PhNR) is the most sensitive electroretinogram (ERG) test for detecting early primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG). This S-cone PhNR may be crucial for future glaucoma diagnosis and monitoring.
