Summary

This study found no tear function abnormalities in patients with pterygium. Tear function tests were similar between eyes with and without pterygium, indicating no significant impact.

  • Utilized Schirmer's test, breakup time test, and mucus fern test.
  • Tear function tests were performed on both eyes of all participants.
