Background:

Ecstasy (MDMA) is increasingly popular among young adults.
Recreational drug abuse poses significant public health risks.

Observation:

A case of severe, fatal 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) intoxication is presented.
The patient experienced a full-blown, lethal reaction due to ecstasy abuse.

Findings:

Systemic intoxication symptoms require prompt recognition by healthcare providers.
Key interventions include rehydration, cooling for hyperthermia, seizure management, and correction of cardiac and electrolyte imbalances.

Implications:

Enhanced awareness of MDMA toxicity is vital for emergency medical services.
