    Summary

    Early surgery for idiopathic congenital clubfoot showed poor outcomes in some cases. Parental neglect was identified as a significant factor contributing to these poor results and reoperations.

    • To investigate the reasons behind postoperative relapse in idiopathic congenital clubfoot.

    • Retrospective review of 58 children with 75 idiopathic congenital clubfeet.
    • Analysis of cases with poor surgical outcomes and subsequent reoperations.
