Estrogen-Like Effect of Bazi Bushen Capsule in Ovariectomized Rats

[Clinical study on effect of Bushen Tiaogan Lianru recipe on hyperprolactinemia]
Objective:
To observe the therapeutic effect of Bushen Tiaogan Lianru Recipe (BTLR) on patients with hyperprolactinemia (HPRL).
Methods:
Patients were divided into three groups: 38 cases in the BTLR group, 22 in the Bromocriptine group and 12 in the control group.
Results:
BTLR could reduce the serum prolactin level of patient markedly. It had a good regulatory action on the relevant hormones with an ideal clinical therapeutic effect, which was similar to the effect of bromocriptine. No effect had revealed in the control group treated with placebo.
Conclusion:
BTLR is effective in the treatment for HPRL and has a good prospect of development and application.
