Ultrasonic velocity measurement in liquids at low frequencies (< 50 kHz) for milliliter samples
Abstract:
A new ultrasonic resonant technique for liquid characterization in the low frequency range is presented. It is based on a waveguide theoretical model describing the acoustic propagation through the liquid and the tube walls. The small liquid samples required (< 10 mL) is an important advantage over other existing techniques.
