Vitreous levels of soluble TNF-receptors (sTNF-Rs) are elevated in proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR), retinal detachment (RRD), and diabetic retinopathy (PDR). Higher sTNF-Rs in PVR correlate with disease severity, suggesting a role in retinal inflammation and angiogenesis.
