Which managed care contract(s) should you sign?

Contracts are a basic responsibility in running a medical practice--so much so that it's inappropriate to pass those responsibilities to someone else. Managers must at least understand the basic terms and conditions of the contract and the reimbursement their practices will receive. This article is written from the perspective of a privately owned medical practice and addresses only discounted, fee-for-service managed care contracts.
