Abstract:
Superior vena cava obstruction has a classical association with bronchial carcinoma. In the presence of cortisol excess, the diagnosis of small-cell carcinoma and ectopic ACTH production seems likely. We present a case where the clinical features did not accurately reflect the underlying pathology.
