Exercise training intervention after coronary angioplasty: the ETICA trial

Exercise training (ET) significantly improved functional capacity and quality of life in patients after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) or coronary stenting (CS). Trained patients experienced fewer adverse events and hospital readmissions, despite unchanged restenosis rates.
