American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) stage is the primary prognostic factor in resectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Peritumoral B lymphocytes indicate better survival in nonsquamous cell lung cancers, suggesting a role for humoral immunity.
