Mumps can rarely cause thyroiditis, a thyroid inflammation, with symptoms appearing before or after parotitis. This case highlights a rare presentation of mumps-related thyroiditis in a child.

Congenital Hypothyroidism: An Unusual Combination of Biochemical Abnormalities.
