Endobronchial biopsy for sarcoidosis: a prospective study

Background:

• To determine the diagnostic yield of endobronchial biopsy (EBB) for suspected sarcoidosis.
• To assess if EBB improves the diagnostic value of fiberoptic bronchoscopy (FOB) when combined with transbronchial biopsy (TBB).
