This study compared functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), evoked potentials (EPs), and optical imaging of intrinsic signals (iOIS) to map brain activity. Co-localizing these techniques revealed similar spatial and temporal responses, particularly the fMRI initial dip and iOIS signal.
