[Aplasia of the gallbladder (author's transl)]
Abstract:
In the clinical observation of a female patient with typical gallstone symptoms and corresponding diagnostic findings when gallstones and gallbladder were absent, further diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in gallbladder aplasia, a very rare anomaly of biliary tract anatomy, could be facilitated with the aid of comparative echography and computer tomography. Diagnostic and therapeutic failure appear to be avoidable by this means.
