[May the Schilling test be already repeated the next day using intrinsic factor?]

Repeating the Schilling test the next day significantly reduces vitamin B12 excretion by 28.7%. This study indicates that a repeated Schilling test with intrinsic factor should not be performed on consecutive days due to altered vitamin B12 absorption.
