HER2 signaling in breast cancer promotes metastasis by up-regulating angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2), which disrupts microvessel integrity and may facilitate angioinvasion. This study demonstrates HER2-induced microvessel dismantling, opening pathways for cancer spread.
