Telemedicine and the Internet. A collaboration and history of communication technologies

Abstract:
First, it is evident that no matter which type of applied technology is used, the most important aspect, aside from the criteria mentioned herein, is the overall ease of use of the client interaction software. Second, it is important to make technology easy so that its use is widespread and practical. It should not be forgotten that the principal goal of telemedicine is to improve patient care in areas in which that care cannot be provided or where the augmentation of current care can be reinforced through collaborative measures. The guiding principal of the Internet was to create a platform where mutual communication and information are made available to the masses in an effective, inexpensive, and intuitive manner. The goals are indeed obvious, and this fact alone makes the future of the two technologies assured.
