Area of Science:
- Urology
- Pediatric Nephrology
- Anatomy
Context:
- Recent clinical, anatomical, and experimental research.
- Focus on primary vesicoureteral reflux (VUR).
Purpose:
- To study urodynamics and antirreflux mechanisms.
- To investigate the pathogenesis of VUR alterations.
- To analyze the harmful effects of VUR and its association with pyelonephritis in children.
Summary:
- Explores the underlying mechanisms of antirreflux in the urinary system.
- Details the development and progression of primary VUR.
- Establishes the detrimental impact of VUR and its correlation with pediatric pyelonephritis.
Impact:
- Enhances understanding of VUR pathogenesis.
- Provides insights into the etiology of pyelonephritis in children.
- Informs clinical strategies for managing VUR and related kidney infections.
Abstract:
In base of recent clinical, anatomical and experimental works, urodinamics and factors of antirreflux mechanisms are studied, as well as pathogenesis of its alterations in cases of primary reflux. The harmful effect of vesico ureteral reflux and its' relationship with pyelonephritis in children is also studied.
