Summary

Children with post-traumatic headaches often have low serum ionized magnesium (IMg(2+)) levels and high ionized calcium/ionized magnesium (ICa(2+)/IMg(2+)) ratios. Total magnesium levels remained normal in these pediatric headache patients.
