Summary

Interleukin-2 (IL-2) immunotherapy combined with antiretroviral therapy (ART) significantly increases CD4(+) T cell counts in HIV patients. This study explored IL-2’s safety and efficacy, showing a rise in CD4(+) cells without affecting HIV RNA levels.
