Traumatic avulsion of the brachial triceps tendon. Description of one case

The authors describe a case of traumatic avulsion of the brachial triceps tendon, an exceptional lesion, that must be suspected when it is impossible to extend the elbow against resistance, with pain specifically at the olecranon insertion of the same. Surgical treatment consists in transosseous and periosteal reinsertion, guaranteeing excellent results if carried out within one week of trauma.
