Summary

Pituitary tuberculomas are rare intrasellar masses that can mimic adenomas. This case highlights successful transsphenoidal removal and anti-tuberculous therapy for a patient presenting with headaches and loss of libido.

  • Pituitary adenomas are common intrasellar tumors.

  • A patient presented with an exclusively intrasellar mass causing severe headaches and loss of libido.
  • The intrasellar mass was approached via a transsphenoidal route.
  • Pathological examination confirmed the mass to be a tuberculoma.

  • Complete surgical removal of the intrasellar tuberculoma was achieved.
  • The patient was initiated on anti-tuberculous therapy post-surgery.
