[Egir Groth (1900-1961)]

In 1942 Egir Groth (1900-1961) became the first Chief Physician for the new ward for the treatment of tuberculosis in the Fakse General Hospital. The article tells about his organizing ability, which had great significance not only for his work, but also for his involvement in the Danish underground movement during the German Occupation (1940-45) in which he showed great courage.
