Dislocation of the triangular cartilage of the nasal septum

Triangular nasal septal dislocation is a rare injury of the newborn infant; it is the result of pressure during deliver. It must be differentiated from transient flattening of the nose. Soon after diagnosis, a rhinologist should elevate the cartilage into the vomerine groove.
